About PeriPage
Frequently asked questions about PeriPage printers and the PeriPage app.
What is a PeriPage?
PeriPage is a pocket thermal printer designed to print anything & anywhere you want! Just connect it with your phone to start printing. It is easy to use, super cute, and fits easily in your pocket or bag, so it's super portable! Print notes, memos, photos, to-do lists, and more.
Can PeriPage print color?
No. PeriPage is a thermal printer, so it can print only in monochrome. However, you can find different types of colored thermal paper to use with it.
What causes unclear printing?
- Insufficient battery power, or the print density set too low in the app's print preview.
- A dirty print head — clean it with alcohol.
- A damp paper roll — moisture in the paper can blur prints, so replace it with a new roll.
Unable to connect to Bluetooth
- Download the PeriPage or PeriMonkey app.
- Turn on the printer and enable Bluetooth on your phone within 3 meters of the printer.
- Open the PeriPage or PeriMonkey app and connect to the printer via Bluetooth.
- Alternatively, turn on the printer and print a QR code by double-clicking the power button. Then, in the app, tap "Scan QR code" to connect via Bluetooth.
How to fix blank printing & install paper correctly
Blank pages usually result from incorrect paper orientation or unsupported paper types.
- Confirm the thermal side of the paper is facing the print head.
- Ensure the paper roll is loaded tightly and aligned properly.
- Only use PeriPage-branded thermal paper.
What to do if the printer can't detect paper
If your printer says "Paper not detected," try the following:
- Reinsert the paper roll and ensure it's installed tightly.
- Clean the paper detection sensor near the roller.
- Use official paper with the correct dimensions.
Why is part of my print missing or incomplete?
Missing lines or broken text can indicate a dirty print head or a damaged roller.
- Clean the print head carefully using alcohol wipes.
- Make sure the paper is not wrinkled or jammed.
- Update the Print Master app and firmware if an update is available.
How to solve charging problems
- Make sure the paper roll is installed correctly and pull it out through the paper outlet.
- Clean the print head with alcohol.
- If the indicator light is still red, try the following: with the printer on and the indicator light red, make sure the printer is in standby with no labels loaded. Press and hold the Power button for 10–20 seconds and release it when the indicator light turns orange. Then reinstall the paper roll, turn on the printer, and start printing.
Paper detection failure
- Make sure the paper roll is installed correctly — check that it sits on the right side of the printer (required for M10, M120 only) and pull the paper roll to the paper outlet.
- Try cleaning the printer sensor with an alcohol-based cotton pad.
- If it still doesn't work, follow these steps: first, remove the paper roll inside the printer, then turn the printer on. Second, close the printer cover, press the Power button to select the firmware version, then press the paper feed button to confirm. Third, reinstall the paper roll for printing.
- Connect the printer to the Print Master app. When the app reports a label-paper abnormality, tap "Not yet resolved," then follow the prompts to remove the label and close the printer cover. Tap "Reset" at the bottom of the app while the printer is on, wait 5 seconds, restart the printer, then reinstall the label to see if the printer recognizes labels normally.
Paper feeding abnormality
- Check whether the paper roll holder is installed too tightly, or whether the paper roll core does not match the holder. Note: the paper roll cannot be loaded into the holder if the core does not match it.
- Pull the paper roll to the paper outlet, at least 1 cm beyond the outlet, and press the paper feed button to see if the printer dispenses paper normally.
- Try printing on another roll of paper and check that the printer prints properly.
- Press the reset button next to the charging port with a safety pin. If the reset is successful, the printer will power off. Turn it on again and try printing.
Can I connect a computer to print?
Download and install the computer driver from the official website. After that, use it just like a normal printer. (The downloaded driver package contains instructions and print templates.)

Paper coming out of the printer without printing
- Restore factory settings: insert labels and ensure they are straight and smooth. With the printer on standby, hold the Feed button for about 10 seconds. After the blue light flashes 4 times, release the Feed button.
- Run automatic label recognition (for labels separated by gaps): insert labels and ensure they are straight and smooth. With the printer on standby, hold the Feed button for about 6 seconds. After the blue light flashes 2 times, release the Feed button.
- Make sure you are using the original 24V–2.5A power adapter.
- Reduce the print darkness to 2–6 and the speed to 3–5 before printing again.
- Print a test page manually: hold the Feed button until the blue light flashes once, then release. A test page will print. If it looks good, print your label.

PeriPage light indicator tips
- Green on: fully charged / normal use.
- Red on: charging / paper shortage / print head overheating / cover opened.
- Red flashing: low battery. This will cause prints to be light, so please charge in time.
- Orange on: the printer has entered debugging mode; long-press the power button until shutdown to exit debugging mode.
- Red flashing quickly: Bluetooth failed — restart the printer.
What is the difference between PeriPage A9 and PeriPage A9S?
PeriPage A9S has 304 dpi, so its resolution is greatly improved. Its appearance has been optimized with graceful lines in the design, making it more fashionable, and the battery lasts 2× longer.
What does the red light mean on my printer?
The red light can indicate overheating, low battery, or paper issues.
- Allow the printer to cool down if it has been used for an extended period.
- Check for paper jams or low battery.
- Refer to the in-app error indicator for more details.
What is the difference between PeriPage A9S and PeriPage A9 Pro?
Both have 304 dpi and can print HD pictures. The main difference is that the A9 Pro can print grayscale photos that look closer to the real thing, making the color gradation of photos more abundant.
How do I change PeriPage paper?
PeriPage currently has a variety of products on sale. The A6 has a push-type slide-open cabin, while the A9, A9S, A9PRO, and A9MAX have button-style cabins. Put the paper in the cabin, close it, and wait for the green light to turn on.
Will the prints fade over time?
Yes. PeriPage is a thermal printer, like a receipt printer, so prints will fade over time. However, our official paper has been specially improved to be high-contrast, fade-resistant, and water-resistant! Some of our paper rolls are certified to last up to 10 years or more.
We are working to develop a new type of paper that never fades!
How long does thermal paper last?
Our official paper lasts 5–10 years depending on the type.
How to use PeriPage? How do I connect my phone to PeriPage?
