Xiamen iLeadTek Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "iLeadTek" or "we") is the developer and operator of the PeriPage product. Your trust means everything to us. We take user data security seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information through appropriate security measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. When you use the services provided through the PeriPage app platform (hereinafter "PeriPage"), we will collect and use your personal information in a lawful, legitimate, and necessary manner as described in this PeriPage Privacy Policy (hereinafter "this Privacy Policy"), in addition to providing services under the PeriPage User Service Agreement.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully so that you understand the purposes, scope, and methods by which PeriPage collects and uses your personal information. If you are a minor, please review this Privacy Policy together with your legal guardian. You may only use PeriPage and provide your personal information after your legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to this Privacy Policy. If you or your guardian disagree with any part of this Privacy Policy, you should immediately stop using PeriPage's products or services. By using any service provided by PeriPage, you indicate that you have agreed to our collection, use, storage, and protection of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy covers the following topics:
This Privacy Policy applies to all services provided by PeriPage, except for certain specific products and services that are subject to their own dedicated privacy policies.
Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to services provided by third parties, other than information shared with third parties as described in Section IV of this Privacy Policy with your confirmation. If you browse a third-party website or provide personal information to a third-party product or service, that information will be subject to the third party's privacy policy. We bear no legal responsibility in such cases. Please read the relevant third party's privacy policy carefully and decide whether to accept it.
Personal information refers to any information, recorded electronically or otherwise, that can identify a specific natural person, either alone or in combination with other information, or reflect the activities of a specific natural person. Personal information relating to children aged 14 and under is considered sensitive personal information.
The products and services we provide depend on certain information from you. When you use PeriPage, you will need to provide or allow us to collect the necessary information so that we can deliver both basic services and an enhanced experience, including the following:
1.1 To create your account, we collect the registration information you provide, including your phone number and password, or third-party authorization for login. This information is used to register and log in to your PeriPage account, to enable customer service and after-sales support, and to keep your account secure. If you do not provide this information, you will only be able to browse and learn about PeriPage but will not be able to access related services. If you only wish to browse and explore PeriPage, you do not need to register as a user or provide the above information.
1.2 To enable us to provide services tailored to you, we collect the profile information you enter, including your avatar, nickname, region, role, grade level, and school. This is used to display subject content, study materials, and practice questions appropriate to your grade level, and past exam papers from your region. You may choose whether to have information displayed based on your grade. If you prefer not to, you may leave the profile section empty, and this will not affect your use of any other features or services.
1.3 When you contact us, we may retain your communication or call records and content, or any contact information you provide, in order to help resolve your issues and document the handling and outcome of related matters. Our customer service team may use your account information to verify your identity. You may provide additional information beyond what is listed above during interactions with our customer service staff. Not providing this information will not affect your use of any other features or services.
Except where otherwise required by law, we will obtain your consent before collecting the following information:
2.1 When you first open the PeriPage app, we will, with your authorization, receive and record information about your device, including device attributes (IMEI, IMSI, device model, operating system version, device settings, unique device identifier, Bluetooth information, Android ID, and MAC address), device location, device connectivity (IP address, mobile carrier, access date and time), background location, external SD card data, and phone number, in order to protect the security of your account and transactions.
2.2 When you first open the PeriPage app, we will, with your authorization, collect device and network information, including the connected Wi-Fi network name (SSID), router MAC address (BSSID), IP address, and network signal strength. This is used to ensure the normal functioning of the PeriPage app service, confirm connectivity to our servers, more accurately diagnose and resolve issues encountered during use, improve the PeriPage app experience, and protect your account security.
2.3 When you use the Bluetooth printing feature, we will request Bluetooth permission to search for and connect to PeriPage printers and to pair and connect smart devices via Bluetooth. Because of how the mobile operating system works, the Bluetooth function requires location permission. Accordingly, after requesting Bluetooth permission, we will also request your location — including approximate location and precise GPS location — in order to connect to the printer via Bluetooth.
2.4 When you use the hotspot data transfer feature, we will request location permission to search for nearby PeriPage device Wi-Fi access points. After location permission is granted, we will collect your device's location, including approximate and precise GPS location, in order to access nearby Wi-Fi devices. You may disable location services in your device settings at any time to stop our collection of your location; however, doing so may prevent you from using location-based services or may cause those services to not function as intended.
2.5 When you first use the following features — printing incorrect answers, cloud error notebook, image and text editing, photo printing, text recognition, uploading material, or uploading an avatar (which may vary depending on your device's operating system) — we will request storage and/or photo library permission, as well as permission to read, delete, and modify external SD card data, to save images, files, or cached data to your device.
2.6 When you first use the camera for any of the following features — printing incorrect answers, image and text editing, photo printing, text recognition, Exam Paper Restoration, document copying, ID card printing, AR photos, device QR code scanning, uploading material, or uploading an avatar — we will request camera permission to allow photo capture for upload services.
2.7 When you first use the PeriPage app, we will request phone permission to read your phone number for one-tap account binding.
2.8 Each time you use the Exam Paper Restoration photo feature, we will request access to your gyroscope, accelerometer, and gravity sensors to monitor your phone's angle while taking photos, helping you capture exam paper images at the best angle. (This feature has been developed but has not yet been officially released to users.)
2.9 While the PeriPage app is running in the background, we will, with your authorization, receive and record device information, including device attributes (IMEI, IMSI, device model, operating system version, device settings, unique device identifier, Bluetooth information, Android ID, and MAC address), device location, device connectivity (IP address, mobile carrier, access date and time), and background location access, in order to protect the security of your account and transactions.
2.10 When you use the Top-School Exam Paper AI Practice feature to share exam paper information to QQ or WeChat, and then open the exam paper page, we will prompt you to open the PeriPage app to view details. If you agree, the app will enable auto-start and will automatically launch and navigate to the corresponding exam paper page, helping you find the exam paper information you need more easily.
2.11 When you bind a Self-Discipline Phone, we need to request the make-a-call permission to directly call the Self-Discipline Phone for contact or remote assistance.
2.12 When you bind a Self-Discipline Phone and choose to add family members through your contacts, we will request read-contacts permission solely to display your contacts as candidates for family members you can add, simplifying the process.
2.13 When you use the personal schedule and homework management feature, we will request permission to read and write to your calendar in order to automatically add your homework tasks to your device calendar and sync reminders, helping you manage your schedule efficiently.
Prior consent is not required in the following circumstances:
3.1 Where collection is related to the personal information controller's fulfillment of obligations required by law or regulation;
3.2 Where directly related to national security or national defense;
3.3 Where directly related to public safety, public health, or significant public interests;
3.4 Where directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of a judgment;

3.9 Where necessary to maintain the safe and stable operation of the products or services provided, such as detecting and addressing product or service failures;
3.10 Where the personal information controller is a news organization and collection is necessary for legitimate news reporting.
We will promptly anonymize the information we collect about you using technical means. Subject to not disclosing your personal information, we may analyze, mine, and use anonymized user data, and may use statistical analyses of PeriPage usage for potential sharing with third parties.
We, or our third-party partners, may collect and use your information through cookies and web beacons, storing it as log data. We use our own cookies and web beacons to provide you with a better user experience and for the following purposes:
